The 2024 Subaru Ascent has space for up to 8 passengers, an abundance of standard safety features and standard all-wheel drive across all trim levels. There are 6 trim levels to choose from, with 2 trims offering an 8-passenger and 7-passenger option. All levels of the Ascent are powered by a 2.4L DOHC turbocharged engine, producing 260 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. Base

Premium
The Ascent Premium model offers the choice between the 8-passenger or 7-passenger set-up, with a second-row bench seat or second-row captains' chairs. The Premium (and all subsequent models) can tow an impressive 5,000 lbs and has a standard All-Weather package included, which has a windshield wiper de-icer and heated front seats among its features. Onyx Edition Limited
The Onyx Edition Limited has room for 7 passengers and has a standard panoramic glass moonroof. This model has 20-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, and StarTex water-repellent upholstery.
