The Upcoming 2025 Subaru Forester Hybrid

Technology Highlights

The 2025 Subaru Forester Hybrid is coming in mid-2025. The redesigned SUV will feature Subaru's Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive combined with a hybrid drivetrain. A 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine will be paired with an electric motor for added fuel efficiency and a more environmentally friendly ride.

Every 2025 Subaru Forester Hybrid will be equipped with EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology. An 11.6-inch infotainment touchscreen will be standard on all trim levels. Wireless smartphone charging and a digital instrument gauge cluster for the driver are also expected. Subaru's Safety and Security Connected Services will also be available.

Design & Styling

The Forester Hybrid is expected to be available in five trim levels: Base, Premium, Sport, Limited, and Touring. The sporty exterior design will feature many new upgrades over the 2024 model year. The rear cabin of this five-passenger SUV will have nearly 70 cubic feet of storage space for hauling gear or groceries.

The storied Subaru Forester has received the top safety ratings from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) for the past 19 years in a row.
