About the 2025 Subaru Ascent
The 2025 Subaru Ascent drops its lowest entry trim this year. Every version of the Ascent is more upscale than in the past, including a generous range of driver safety features and two new trim versions. A 260-horsepower turbocharged 4-cylinder engine is standard along with all-wheel drive. It's also rated to tow up to 5,000 pounds.
Technology Highlights
A Wi-Fi hotspot and an 11.6-inch infotainment touchscreen are standard. Subaru's safety tech features are standard across all trims, including blind-spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert, and emergency stop assist. You also get a voice-activated navigation system, wireless Bluetooth connection, and hands-free smartphone operation.
Design Styling
The trim versions on this year's Subaru Ascent are the Premium, Onyx Edition, Limited, Bronze Edition (new), Touring, and Onyx Edition Touring (new). The Bronze edition features bronze-colored wheels and accents. The Onyx Edition Touring is loaded with the best tech and interior features. The spacious interior seats eight passengers and has second-row captain's chairs.
