2026 Subaru Ascent SUVs bring Onyx Edition styling and standard StarTex® upholstery to Premium models. In addition, Touring models receive updated interior accents with a unique woodgrain finish. Shoppers can also opt for a new Sapphire Blue Pearl exterior paint, which replaces Cosmic Blue Pearl.
Design
2026 Subaru Ascent SUVs offer a wide range of appearance options and ergonomic features, including standard 18-inch black-finish wheels, raised roof rails, and a Power Rear Gate that reveals up to 75.6 cubic feet of total cargo capacity. In addition, every Ascent SUV features a standard All-Weather Package with heated side mirrors, heated front seats, and a windshield wiper de-icer for chilly mornings. Popular features to personalize with include a tilting and sliding Panoramic Moonroof, power-folding side mirrors, or 20-inch wheels in multiple styles.

Using a Lineartronic® CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) to balance response and efficiency, drivers receive an 8-speed manual mode with paddle shifters, maximum towing capacity of up to 5,000 pounds, and up to an EPA-estimated 19 MPG city and 26 MPG highway.
