If Subaru is known for anything, it's the juxtaposition of quality that stands the test of time and the kind of innovation that drives the auto industry forward. Nowhere is this more apparent than in the new 2020 lineup. What's new under the hood and going on in-cabin in your favorite cars and SUVs this model year? A short virtual tour's in order.

2020 Subaru Legacy

This iconic mid-size sedan comes completely redesigned and re-engineered for 2020 on the new Subaru Global Platform. Not only is it a quieter, more comfortable ride. With EyeSight Driver Assist Technology standard, it's also safer.

All-new features like the latter's advanced adaptive cruise control system, which incorporates lane centering, and a DriverFocus distraction mitigation system go far on this count. Moreover, you can look forward to achieving up to 35 mpg on the highway to Charlottesville -- put another way, a nearly 650-mile total cruising range on a full tank.

There's even an all-new trim, Touring XT, compete with a likewise all-new turbocharged 260-horsepower engine, heated and ventilated Nappa leather front seats, heated rear seating, and more legroom than ever in which to stretch out -- 39.5 inches.

2020 Subaru Outback

Our brand's iconic wagon-become-modern crossover SUV has come into its own for 2020, with a new, more rugged look, upgraded to 182 horsepower, and bringing a new special Onyx Edition XT trim in tow. The last can produce 260 horsepower, offers a new dual-function X-MODE with terrain-specific settings, builds in a massive 11.6-inch touchscreen, and features unique design elements sure to turn heads.

Furthermore, it's been completely redesigned in-cabin. There's now 109 cubic feet of room for passengers, Java Brown Nappa leather seats are available both heated and ventilated, there's a heated steering wheel and heated rear seating available, and you can make use of up to 75.7 cubic feet for cargo.

2020 Subaru Ascent

This Subaru flagship was new just last model year, a worthy follow-up to the old favorite, Subaru Tribeca, and now, it's our automaker's largest family crossover SUV to date.

Power pours out from base and Premium to Limited and Touring trims, owing to a 260-horsepower SUBARU BOXER engine. Plus, Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive with X-MODE and EyeSight Driver Assist Technology both stay standard for navigating the landscape around Culpeper, and there's an all-new rear seat reminder system to inform you of occupancy.

Other family-friendly features range from optional second-row captain's chairs and 86 cubic feet of cargo space at maximum to 6.5- or 8-inch SUBARU STARLINK Multimedia infotainment, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 4G LTE Wi-Fi, 14-speaker Harman Kardon audio, and more.
